FUE
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a technique used by taking hair follicles form the donor area (often the back of the head) to the recipient area (where hair loss is) to give a full natural look.
FUE technique can be done in different ways such as:
- Regular FUE: 4000 grafts in 6-8 hours (one session)
- Mega FUE: 8000 grafts over two days (two sessions)
- Sapphire pens: using sharp and precise pens made of sapphire stones
- Sapphire Technique: With this technology, the follicles are picked out from the donor area via the Micro Motor, and transplanted into the receiving area by opening fine channels in the bald areas with precise medical forceps. The operation takes around (6-8) hours, transplanting up to (5000) follicles.
DHI (CHOI)
Direct Hair Transplant (DHI) is considerably a very new and advanced technique as it uses precisely sharp CHOI pens (0.6mm-1.2mm) in transferring the hair grafts directly from donor area to the recipient area without the need to open the hair canal. Many patients prefer this technique as it can sometimes be done without shaving any hair!
DHI technique is typically done as following:
- Regular DHI: 3500 grafts in 6-8 hours (one session)
- Pro DHI: 5000 grafts in 12-14 hours (one session)
- Mega DHI: 8000 grafts in two consecutive days (two sessions)
Sapphire Technique
With this technology, the follicles are picked out from the donor area via the Micro Motor, and transplanted into the receiving area by opening fine channels in the bald areas with precise medical forceps. The operation takes around (6-8) hours, transplanting up to (5000) follicles.
Please note that in both FUE and DHI diagnosis form must be prepared by one of our doctor’s first to dedicate the appropriate amount of hair grafts needed.
